Hey all,
Next week we are asked to create a lesson plan that has something to do with our topic. My understanding is it does not have to do with our big project of biomes, just our subject of weather. I was interested in doing a lesson on thunderstorms, including safety, how they form and why. I think I will aim towards first or second grade, depending on where my research leads me. Again, my understanding is that we all are to do our own lesson plans, in taskstream, but we are not allowed to do a lesson on the same topic. Hopefully I will get mine completed closer to the beginning of the week.
Side note, I have an ultrasound on tuesday where they will decide if I need to be induced and hopefully when. So bare with me the next few weeks, my baby is making his entrance soon!
Thank you Tarra for keeping us informed. I don't really know you but I am so excited for you! I have not yet got a chance to look over what is due for next week but I will be tomorrow and I will let you all know my ideas!
ReplyDeleteI would love to do a lesson plan on either natural disasters like hurricanes, tornadoes, tsunamis, etc. Or phases of Precipitation would be fun as well including the water cycle!
ReplyDeleteI looked into things and my lesson we involve weather conditions. So this includes temperature, wind, humidity, pressure, ect.
ReplyDeleteThe assignment states "Each lesson plan must be from different areas of you concept map so no one does the same lesson plan." I emailed the teacher over a week ago and have yet to get a response about what to do for the lesson. I am focusing on Marine Biomes and hoping that is what we were assigned to do.
ReplyDeleteYeah I was thinking more along the lines of temperature and wind and humidity and the effects it has on a biome.
